Gunpla folks, let's swap some daily life.
Waited half a year for the PLAMATEA Yuki Yuna, shipped from Japan on Thursday, arrived in the US on Friday, and on Saturday I spent twelve hours doing a simple build while rewatching the entire Garden of Sinners series for the Nth time. Did a bit of light sanding, panel lining, and hand-painted a few color patches—too lazy to airbrush.
Saw on Twitter that some people had minor joint breakage issues, and the comments below said it's just normal PLAMATEA behavior. First time building a PLAMATEA, and it definitely feels a step below Bandai and Kotobukiya.
Then there's the Kaiyodo Oogaki Chiaki gashapon that's been sitting around for two years, still in pieces—too lazy to paint the plain-colored parts...

A twelve-hour simple build sounds easy, but once you actually get into it, sanding panel lines and hand-painting color blocks really eats up time—especially if you're watching something on the side. Stopping to deal with color mismatches and seam fixes will probably take longer than you expect. And if the PLAMATEA joints are on the tight side, repeatedly test-posing during assembly can easily slow your pace, so you may not finish on schedule.
