Aligned Incentives card sold as gift card got debited due to zero balance
13 hours ago
TL;DR: OP bought ten Best Buy gift cards from the DoorDash gift card store in early September, submitted them to AI around October 20, and today received an email saying the gift cards were debited due to zero balance. The payout deducted the portion for these cards, and each card also incurred a $2 fee. Checked on Best Buy's official website and indeed all of them have no balance left.
Currently planning to reply and dispute with the following information:
Balance Check screenshots
eGift card PDFs
DoorDash gift card order receipt
Currently contacting Best Buy to see if I can get the gift cards' transaction history
Has any forum member encountered a similar situation? Any experience or advice? Seeing this early on a weekend morning is quite upsetting

I'd suggest you organize all your materials into a PDF with a clear timeline and submit the dispute as soon as possible. In particular, the balance check screenshots and order receipts need to match up with each card. Also, keep an eye on the dispute window—don't wait too long. There's also a $2 fee per card, which adds up to a small loss. If you can get the transaction history from Best Buy, it's best to include it as well; otherwise, zero-balance screenshots alone may not be enough.
