Did the farmers market add JAL?

Not sure if I've just been living under a rock or if this is a new feature, but the calendar search now has a JAL option. I check it pretty often, and I just noticed it today. Before, I only knew about the JAL First search function under Tools.

However, I don't see a JAL program under the Explore menu. Not sure if it's a bug or something about to launch.

First, note down the page link and any dates that appear, then switch to another account or clear your cache to see if it's still there—that way you can tell whether it's a staged rollout.

I'd say don't rush to treat it as an official feature just yet. There's no entry in the menu—it only shows up in search—so it's quite likely just a query option borrowing the same dataset. If it does actually launch, the rules for search and redemption, along with taxes, fees, and time costs, will all need to keep pace. Otherwise it's just one more visible-but-useless entry point that adds to the filtering burden.

First confirm which filter conditions in the Explore menu trigger it, then try reproducing it with different dates and note down the steps that reproduce it.

The issue appears to be a frontend configuration leak, based on the fact that there is no corresponding program entry in the Explore menu.

Is this option visible regardless of departure location or membership tier? For example, would searches originating outside the US, or accounts without the relevant membership, not see it at all—or is the only difference in the filter conditions within the search results?

If you're getting ready to launch, you typically wouldn't want it to show up only halfway in calendar search—make sure both the search and redemption sides are updated in sync.
