A relative in China, has a green card—is this route feasible? sounds too good to be true
update: Thanks everyone for the replies! Not looking for anything specialized, mainly just want the degree, and later study med/law, not grinding through engineering.

The pathway itself is viable, but the key issue isn't whether you can transfer from a community college to a UC—it's how green card status and in-state tuition eligibility are determined. If your relative only has a green card but has been living in China long-term, the residency requirement may prove more troublesome than the transfer itself. I'd suggest clarifying that first before discussing feasibility.
