I have an SSN, I'm already back in China, and I don't have a valid US-issued ID.

Today I wanted to transfer some money back to Chase, but it asked for identity verification. After uploading my Chinese passport and doing facial recognition, I got the result shown in the image.

I called customer service at 888-606-9669, and the rep said they probably don't support non-US-issued IDs, and that follow-up can only be handled via email. What should I do?

I searched everywhere online and couldn't find any similar cases or follow-up progress, so I'll serve as my own data point.

If you don't urgently need this money in the short term, you can first follow what customer service suggested and go through the email channel, sending your passport, facial verification results, and account information all at once and clearly; but the prerequisite is to keep a record of every email exchanged, and it may take several weeks or even longer.
