Muse Is Actually Pretty Handy for Reporting Harassing Texts and Calls

I get at least 3–4 spam calls a day. I set unknown numbers to go straight to voicemail, and the scam call content and callback number info basically all get transcribed into text—not to mention texts.

I just copy it over to Muse and have it help submit a report to the FTC. Muse splits out the callback number in no time, fills in the report form with the specific details and category, and submits it.

In a way, Muse makes it easier for the scam calls I get to end up in the FTC's database. Hopefully that helps law enforcement take action a step further.

After submitting to the FTC, did you ever receive a confirmation number or any follow-up receipt? I'd actually be quite interested in learning about that process.

Since transcription can automatically generate text, you might as well compile a separate list of the frequently called-back numbers, block or flag them on your own phone first, and then report them.
