The hourly rate looks decent, but what's common with this type of job is that hours are unstable—fewer shifts in the slow season and nonstop work in peak season. Your actual monthly income depends on how many hours you can get scheduled each week, so don't just focus on the hourly number. Before you decide, ask whether there are fixed shifts and a guaranteed minimum number of hours.

That hourly rate isn't outrageous for New York, but in lower-cost states the same job might only pay in the teens. Also, whether there are restrictions on age, physical ability, or work authorization varies a lot from person to person, so it's best to ask upfront.
For packing, labeling, and sorting, is it actually an assembly line, or does one person handle an entire order? If the assembly line gets bottlenecked, what's called "easy" might just turn into rushing to keep up.
