Using a phone number as the email prefix and adding WeChat contacts is not a very standard way to recruit. Legitimate companies generally don't share contact information like that.

Is this position part-time or full-time, and roughly how much time would I need to commit each day?

A lot of job postings online that claim to be for e-commerce customer service are actually fronts for getting people to advance payment for goods or do fake order brushing. If you're asked to pay a deposit, a training fee, or to front money to place orders, you can basically assume it's a scam. Legitimate employers also tend to provide a company email address and WeCom (Enterprise WeChat) contact rather than a personal mobile number and private WeChat account, so it's worth checking first whether the other party has a business license and a specific company name.

If you really want to give it a try, start by asking them to clearly state the company's full name, the payment cycle, and the hourly rate, and insist on communicating through channels that leave a record. Don't send photos of your ID card or bank card information right from the start.

Requiring strong English email skills but limiting the role to customer service alone doesn't quite add up—worth asking a follow-up question.

It says things like "flexible hours" and "won't interfere with your main job or personal life," which sounds appealing, but in reality customer service work usually comes with assessments based on platform online hours and response speed, and during peak season you may be asked to work overtime at short notice. On top of that, it doesn't clearly explain how pay is calculated, whether it's hourly or per order, how payment is made, or whether there's a probation period. It's best to have them clarify all of this before you even discuss your resume.

I'm rather skeptical about the legitimacy of job postings like this: the requirements are written as low-barrier and the hours are flexible, yet they ask you to send your résumé to a personal email address—meaning the costs and risks will most likely fall on the applicant.
