This salary is quite competitive for a private driver, but there are a few things I'd like to confirm: Does room and board mean living in the employer's home, or is separate accommodation provided? For the 6–8 hours per day, is that a fixed schedule or does it follow the employer's itinerary? Also, with weekends off, how is overtime handled if there's a last-minute business trip? Spelling these out clearly might help attract the right candidate.

With W-2 taxes plus room and board, your actual take-home pay can be more complicated than the numbers suggest. A quick reminder: during the interview, it's best to ask clearly about working hours, rest schedules, overtime compensation, and living conditions—ideally getting everything in writing—so you can avoid disagreements later over being on call at all hours.

Which areas does the employer mainly travel to? Do they often need to drive long distances?
