Looks like it recently showed up on Resy. What do you all think?

Check out the menu and prices before you decide—don't book blind.

You mentioned it's on Resy, but you didn't say which restaurant, when reservations drop, or whether a deposit is required—all of which are pretty important for folks in the Bay Area who want to go. Also, is it bar seating only or are there tables too? What's the minimum party size? And how strict is the cancellation policy? Best to confirm all that before jumping in.

There aren't many places doing wagyu in San Jose to begin with, so being on Resy at least shows they've got steady traffic and the operational chops to keep things running. Whether it's actually worth it still comes down to the grade of the beef and how it's cut—don't just go by the word "wagyu."

If you're only getting a package, check whether there's a service fee before you book.

Just because you can book it on Resy doesn't mean the experience is consistent—locations in the South Bay and on the Peninsula vary quite a bit in meat quality, aging, and portion size. Taste preferences also differ between the East Coast and the Bay Area on the forums; some people love that rich, fatty flavor, while others find it too greasy. It's best to wait for a few real photos from different regions before making a judgment.
