Arguing with the rep over card churning easily gives you cancer

Because I argued with the BoA rep for a long time over churning

But that manager added it back again because I argued with her all afternoon, making her explain why I absolutely had to go to a branch

I switched to another rep to get it unlocked, and she added it back again, insisting I go to a branch.

BoA's card triggers an alert the moment I swipe it, so I only spent 100, and every time I spend 100 I have to go to a branch.

And I even have all my stocks parked with them to keep my tier status....

I'm going right now to transfer all my stocks out, and I'll never use their cc again

I can't close the credit card either

If I could make money I'd immediately go kneel at the branch, they won't let me churn and still want me to kneel....

I'm so pissed off....

Bank branch policies really do vary from place to place. In some areas, small purchases don't trigger any alerts at all. Your situation may have to do with your account's history or risk-control level—it's not necessarily the teller deliberately giving you a hard time.

So which are you planning to do first—transfer the stocks or downgrade the credit card?

If you really want to transfer the stocks out, first confirm whether the receiving brokerage can accept holdings like BOA. Transferring an account usually means either visiting your current broker in person or submitting an ACAT request online, and it can take several weeks. On the credit card side, even if you don't close the card, you'll still need to keep it to pay the annual fee or maintain your credit history—don't shut everything down in a fit of anger and hurt your score. Also, frequently arguing with customer service can easily get your account flagged as high risk, making it even harder to get it unfrozen later. Stay calm and handle things step by step.
