This brand is pretty high in salt. Does anyone know the exact amount? I want to give it to my kid, but I need to check first.
I think the key isn't the brand—it's that mix of sour, salty, and sweet. Once you get used to it, it makes a lot of bland fruit taste so much better, and it's really cheap. One jar lasts a long time, way more economical than buying pre-seasoned fruit.
It tastes great, but don't sprinkle too much at once. The first time I didn't control the amount, and the whole plate of fruit was so salty it was inedible. It's best to pour some into a small dish first and dip it.
Try sprinkling it on mango, pineapple, or watermelon—about a pinch per bowl of fruit. Start with a little and adjust from there. If you can't find it, you can make do with chili powder, salt, and citric acid.
