Thinking of going in late January or early February, since I've never seen the northern lights in my life. Is it enough to stay 3 nights and just book a tour through something like Viator? Is it worth going to Anchorage too? I feel like I could save that for a fall trip later? (My impression of Alaska has always been from detective shows..)
