How exactly is the price advantage reflected? Could you give an example?

This kind of service is essentially a local rental agency, just specifically targeting Vietnamese clients. The key question is what their relationship with landlords actually is—do they directly represent listings, or do they simply refer you to other agencies? If it's just referrals, then any claimed price advantage probably doesn't hold up, since the final rent is still set by the landlord or the original agency. Also, the post doesn't mention whether there's a service fee, how the deposit is handled, or whether they have proper credentials—and those are exactly the core details you'd need to judge whether they're trustworthy.

If the student hasn't received their visa or offer yet, can you help hold the room for them first?
