Are AI Agents actually ready for enterprise workflows, or are we still in the hype phase?

I've been reading a lot about AI Agents lately, and one thing stands out: the conversation has shifted from "AI that can answer questions" to "AI that can actually complete work."

The idea sounds compelling. Instead of just generating a response, an AI Agent could retrieve information from different systems, analyze it, generate a report, notify the right people, and move a workflow forward with minimal human intervention.

But I'm curious about how well this works in practice.

From what I've seen, the biggest challenges don't seem to be the AI models themselves. They seem to be things like:

  • Integrating with existing enterprise systems.
  • Dealing with inconsistent or fragmented data.
  • Security and governance requirements.
  • Building enough trust for employees to rely on AI-driven workflows.

For those who've worked with AI Agents in production (or evaluated them), what's been the b...

Gartner Predicts 15% of Daily Decisions Will Be Made Autonomously by AI by 2028, But Is the Infrastructure Ready?

Over the past five years, generative AI has taken the market by storm, creating text, dynamic videos, and various other content based on user prompts. Now, Agentic AI promises to bring a fundamental shift for enterprises. Agentic AI not only responds to user prompts but also achieves goals by reasoning, planning, and executing multi-step actions with minimal human intervention.

Gartner predicts that by 2028, at least 15% of daily work decisions will be made autonomously by Agentic AI. Gartner also notes that by the end of 2027, enterprises will cancel over 40% of their Agentic AI projects. Why is Agentic AI so important, yet enterprises struggle to integrate AI into their operations? Gartner believes the biggest obstacles are escalating costs and the complexity of deploying AI agents at scale.

To ensure the successful implementation of Agentic AI, enterprises need to ensure a reasonabl...

Why don't non-tech people use AI Agents like Claude?

I'm a teacher of a foreign language. And I never thought that I could make a project without knowledge of code or could delegate routine tasks to an AI agent.

I tell my colleagues and non-tech people (friends) about my experience using Claude Code or Cursor but they immediately start to answer like "No, it's too hard and I don't trust it". But after some discussions in PLAIN language about it, they become open-minded. WOW!

Thanks to my friends and husband (they're IT specialists) who showed me that AI Agents and skills are not only for them. But some people (like me) don't have such a society and continue to think that a non-IT person is outside of it.

Do you have non-IT friends or colleagues who use it? Why did they start to use it? How did they understand how to use it?

It's really interesting for me because I was scared just by downloading Claude to my computer :):):)
